From today, every quote from Propfix is free. Whether it’s a leaking tap, a bathroom refit or a full extension, you send us the details and photos, and we send you back a proper itemised price with no charge and no obligation.
Why we’ve changed it
When we launched our online quote tool we charged a small fee for each itemised quote, because pricing a job properly takes real time. It was fair, but it put people off. We heard the same thing again and again: “I just want to know roughly what it’ll cost before I commit to anything.” So we’ve removed the fee altogether.
Our view is simple. If you can see exactly what you’re paying for, line by line, before anyone sets foot in your home, you’ll make a better decision. And more often than not, that decision is to go ahead with us.
What you get in a Propfix quote
- Labour, materials and any specialist trades listed separately, so nothing is hidden inside a round number
- A fixed total. What’s on the quote is what you pay, with no “plus extras” on the day

How to get yours
Go to our Get a quote page, upload a few photos of the job and add your postcode. It takes about two minutes. For most everyday repairs and maintenance jobs you’ll have your itemised quote back within a few hours. For bigger building projects such as extensions and loft conversions, we quote once you have your builder’s drawings and planning documents, so the price is accurate rather than a guess.
