New Build FAQs
Yes – planning permission is always required for building a new home in the UK, even on your own land. Permitted development doesn’t apply to new dwellings. You’ll need to apply to your local council and wait for formal approval before construction starts. This applies across all areas Propfix serves, including London and nearby counties. If your site is in a conservation or Green Belt area, stricter planning rules may apply.
