How it works
- You pay Propfix, not the tradesperson. Your payment sits in a regulated payment account while the work is done.
- The trade is paid when you approve the work. Not before. If something isn’t right, it gets put right first.
- Bigger jobs are paid in stages. Your deposit is protected and each stage payment is only released against work that’s been completed and agreed.
What that means in practice
For a small job, say a leaking tap or a new light fitting, you approve the itemised quote, the trade turns up and does the work, you check it, and you pay. Simple.
For a larger project, such as a bathroom refit or an extension, we agree a schedule of stages with you before anything starts. You’ll know exactly which stage triggers which payment, and you sign each one off before the money moves. The final payment is only made when you’ve walked round the finished job and you’re happy.
